Don't worry about the future. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday :)
Do one thing everyday that scares you.
Don't waste your time on jealousy, sometimes you are ahead, sometimes you are behind, the race is long and at the end, it's only with yourself.
Don't feel guilty if you don't know what to do with your life. Some of the most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don't. Whatever you do don't congratulate yourself too much, or berate yourself either. Your choices are half chance, so are everybody's else.
Enjoy your body, don't be afraid of it, or what other people think of it, it's the greatest instrument you will ever own. Dance.
Read the directions even if you don't follow them.
Don't read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.
Get to know your parents. They are your best link to the past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle, because the older you get the more you need the people who knew you when you were young.
Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
...But trust me on the sunscreen.
is not easy to understand, even though is very significant and smart; people spent their lifes trying to follow models, been accepted, working for others, worrying about stupid things, just beacause this is the life that you are supposed to live, but only the ones who take the risk of living without schemes make really the difference.

I love the way you write. You have amazing things to say, you are a very smart girl and I like the way you think. People think that the one "fits" the most in society standards is better, that everyone should be like him or her. It's hard to fight this standars, but we need to be strong and firm in our beliefs. We can't let them dominate us. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life, but as long as I follow my principles and beliefs, I'm happy. I love you!
